Product Description

This tour is perfect for nature lovers and those looking to enjoy an easy adventure.

Our day begins with a drive through the small town of El Valle de Anton before beginning our hike to the India Dormida “Sleeping Indian” mountain. Once we are ready to go, we will start on the trail that takes us up to the summit where you can enjoy panoramic views of the valley below. El Valle de Anton is one of the world’s largest populated volcanic craters, as the village is located over an extinct volcano.

The first half of the hike will take approximately 1.5 hours. During the hike you will get spectacular views of the valley and surrounding landscape.  At the top, we will have time to rest, relax and enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean and the nearby mountains. The descent will take approximately another 1.5 hours during which we will walk through the forest where you can observe the wide variety of birds and orchids that inhabit this zone. On our way down we will stop at different waterfalls, where you can cool off and swim.

At the end of our hike, we will have a break for lunch to enjoy the delicious typical Panamanian cuisine in El Valle de Anton downtown.
